This may possibly be the most tedious work I have ever done but that made it all the more rewarding. This pointilism piece I have entitled “Mandarin Madness” features seemingly simple sujects, mandarins, but rendered in a precise and meticulous way. It is a piece that reminds us that looking closer and the mundane reveals a world of complexity and nuance.
